    Der Hof der Meister

    Dieser ruhige Innenhof in der Altstadt von Tallinn stellt einen Splitter der Geschichte von Tallinn vor hunderten von Jahren dar, als die Werke von Handwerkern hoch geschätzt wurden. Erhalten geblieben sind die mittelalterliche Architektur und die gemütliche Atmosphäre. Geöffnet sind verschiedene Kunst- und Handwerksstuben, Gästezimmer zur Unterkunft und das berühmte Café Chocolaterie.

      Most of the shops were closed (despite having signs at the door saying "open"). The ones that were open sold yet again tacky touristy souvenirs, as seems to be the case all over the old town.
