Sounds of The City Wall takes place every year on the first Saturday of September. The morning begins at the Viru gate and proceeds from tower to tower, gate to gate, along the Old Town walls. Choirs, singers and bands are enjoyed on the tour.
Specialists introduce to you the history of masonry, students paint impressions made and choreography students improvise dance numbers. The event does not make use of sound amplifiers, as every corner of the Old Town itself carries sound and acts as a superb stage.
The purpose of the event is to help those interested learn more about old and valuable architecture.
