The Magic of Mirrors: From Function to Fashion

The exhibition “The Magic of Mirrors: From Function to Fashion” invites visitors on a journey through the fascinating history of mirrors—from ancient reflections in water to today’s polished glass and digital screens. Among nearly one hundred pieces are a rare four-thousand-year-old Egyptian bronze mirror, elegant Venetian examples, and playfully distorted mirrors from Estonia’s historic Rõika-Meleski factory. Adding a contemporary spark are fashion designer Liisi Eesmaa’s iconic mirror dresses from her Mirror Tetris collection. Designed by Eugen Tamberg, the exhibition blends history, fashion, and imagination into a captivating exploration of how mirrors shape the way we see ourselves.
