The Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art celebrates its 20th anniversary with the return of the Köler Prize! For the nominees’ exhibition, five Estonian artists – Anna Mari Liivrand, Darja Popolitova, Hanna Samoson, Keiu Maasik and Taavi Suisalu – will each present a new work. Based on these, an international jury will select the Grand Prix winner, while visitors will vote for the Audience Award.
The exhibition opens on April 10 at 19:00 and will remain on view until July 5, 2026.
In 2026, the €15,000 Grand Prize is sponsored by indie video game studio ZA/UM and its fashion division ZA/UM Atelier. The €5,000 Audience Award is supported by the law firm COBALT.
On June 12, a grand award gala will take place, where both the main prize winner and the audience favourite will be announced.
The Köler Prize project is supported by ZA/UM, COBALT, the Estonian Cultural Endowment, the Estonian Ministry of Culture, the City of Tallinn, Akzo Nobel, Von Krahl Theatre and Ekspeditsioon.
