Duo Solara

Duo Solara’s programme "Colours of Sound" brings together music from a wide range of styles, spanning Broadway classics and film music to contemporary soundscapes.

The programme is framed by two major works: British composer Stephen Goss’s playful and witty suite Cocktail List and a selection from George Gershwin’s Songbook, arranged by Helin Hallik. These works are united by their jazz-inspired language, musical humour and stylistic elegance, creating a natural dialogue between them.

The concert also features Helin Hallik’s original composition, Sunset, Sunrise and Everything in Between, which tells the story of magical forest creatures and invites listeners on a journey through a dense forest at night.

Arrangements by Sarah Badlissi from beloved films such as How to Train Your Dragon and Kiki’s Delivery Service bring cinematic colour and atmosphere to the stage, with each piece revealing its own distinctive character.
