Otto Kramer’s garden gets its name from Kramer’s gardening farm, which was Tallinn’s first botanic garden where plants were grown and cultivated. Otto Kramer (1883-1972) was a successful breeder operating different test-stations, wood growing plants, gardening farms and wine-making factories. From 1929 Otto Kramer lived in Tallinn and at the end of 1930s established a gardening farm at a plot he owned in the Kristiine area.
