Neeme Külm and Alice Kask. In Vanity Alone

City Gallery, a thoroughly familiar place to the artist and master exhibition installer Neeme Külm, is a predetermined starting point for his current spatial journey. A wall structure hidden under multiple layers of paint, an empty space between the gallery’s suspended ceiling and the actual ceiling, among many other things, are under his scalpel like patients on the operating table. Alice Kask, for her part, observes points of encounter and focuses on corners – independently, drawing on her own predetermination.
