Listing a service or event on two of Estonian’s largest tourism websites
Visittallinn.ee and Puhkaeestis.ee/Visitestonia.com are the biggest tourism websites in Estonia and publishing information on them is free of charge. In total, around 9 million visits are made to these websites each year, not only by tourists but also by travel agents, journalists and other tourism professionals. The information is used to plan marketing campaigns for Tallinn and Estonia, and is also an important database for public authorities planning to support the tourism sector.
Why you should add information about your service to the tourism database
- One entry adds you to two websites at once – products and services entered in the Puhka Eesti database are also displayed on the Visit Estonia and Visit Tallinn websites, and on the Tallinn Card app for Tallinn Card partners;
- Businesses’ offers are featured in Visit Estonia and Visit Tallinn marketing campaigns;
- The products and services offered by your business will be translated into four (4) languages, if appropriate;
- All the information on the page is very well optimised for Google as well as other search engines and AI;
- The visitor can quickly access the booking/buying interface via the website;
- Up-to-date information in the database is a prerequisite for many grant applications.
How to add your service or event
- Fill out the registration form on the PuhkaEestis.ee website. Please note! When you first sign up, you will need to create an account by logging in with Smart-ID, Mobile-ID or an ID card.
- Enter your service or event in the national tourism database — it will then be available on two Estonian tourism websites at once: visittallinn.ee and PuhkaEestis.ee/VisitEstonia.com.
- Maintain and update your information regularly to keep it current and accurate — changes will appear on visittallinn.ee within 3 days.

Promotion of services and events at the Tallinn Tourist Information Centre
The Tallinn Tourist Information Centre allows you to promote your services and events directly to visitors of Tallinn. The centre, located in Tallinn's Old Town at 2 Niguliste Street, is open 363 days a year – a great way to reach visitors who are in the city every day.
Informational material on Tallinn's museums, events in the city and partners to the Tallinn Card is available free of charge at the Tourist Information Centre. Other businesses can increase their visibility through paid advertising options – renting space to display flyers or displaying their advertising on a 42-inch LCD screen (videos, pictures, slides).
Why showcase your offer in the Tourist Information Centre?
- Increase the visibility of your service or event directly to visitors of Tallinn — information reaches people looking for ideas and suggestions for what to do in the city.
- The Tourist Information Centre is located in the Old Town, a key destination for visitors and a popular visitor area, with more than 100,000 visitors a year.
- Visitors will take your brochure with them and use it during their trip — meaning they will see the information on your business regularly.
- Sharing information increases the credibility of your listing — it will be displayed in the official Tourist Information Centre and shared by the helpful Information Centre staff.
- Visitors have the option of buying a ticket for your event immediately at the Tourist Information Centre (if your event is available on the ticketing portal).
