Pikk Hermann
Pikk Hermann on Toompea linnuse edelanurgal asuv kaitsetorn, mis rajati arvatavasti 1371. Torni kõrgus maapinnast on 45 meetrit.
Pika Hermanni tornis, 95 m kõrgusel merepinnast lehviv lipp sümboliseerib Eestis kehtivat võimu. Eesti sini-must-valge rahvus- ja riigilipp heisati siia esmakordselt 12. detsembril 1918 ja pärast Nõukogude okupatsiooni 24. veebruaril 1989.
Hea teada: Lipp heisatakse ja langetatakse päikesetõusul ning -loojangul. Heiskamisel kõlab riigihümn ja langetamisel G. Ernesaksa "Mu isamaa on minu arm" signatuur.
