See 14.saj ehitatud puust sisuga ja kaheksatahulise torniga Püha Vaimu kirik on üks vanimaid ning uhkemaid ehitisi Tallinnas.
Kiriku fassaadi kaunistab 17.saj pärit C.Ackermanni kell. Kiriku sisustuse aareteks on Berndt Notke ainulaadne 14.saj pärit kappaltar, 1597.a. ehitatud kantsel ja revääridel Pildipiibel.
Keskajal oli lihtrahva peamine pühakoda. Pärast reformatsiooni peeti siin esimesed eestikeelsed jutlused ja kiriku pastori Johann Koelli 1535.a. avaldatud katekismust peetakse esimeseks eestikeelseks raamatuks.
Esimene eesti keelt kõnelev vaimulik Püha Vaimu kirikus oli Balthasar Russow.

This is a rather underwhelming church, located a two minute stroll from the central town hall square. The ancient clock is lovely, though.
