Oleviste kiriku torn ja vaateplatvorm
16. sajandi alguses valmis Oleviste kiriku läänetornil gooti telkkiiver, mida arvati tol ajal maailma kõrgeimate hulka, torni kõrgus oli mõnedel andmetel 159 m. Ajaloolased on aga andmete ja mõõtühikute tõlgendamisel eri meelel, mõned arvavad, et kiriku torn pole kunagi olnud kõrgem kui 115-125 m. Sellegi poolest oli tegemist suursuguse ehitisega ning hetkel ligi 124 m kõrgust torni peetakse siiani üheks Tallinna sümboliks. Vaateplatvormile viib 232 trepiastet!

A Walk Up to the Spire is Worth the Views!
tripadvisor rating 5 of 5Simple church with high pews and a dramatic spire with 234 steep stone steps up, and dramatic views from the balcony viewpoint at the top. Definitely worth a visit!
