    Controvento, the  oldest Italian restaurant in Tallinn, is located in the heart of the medieval Latin Quarter, between the craft workshops on the St Catherine’s Passage. Its doors were opened in 1994. We offer traditional Italian cuisine with an exciting twist. Our regulars know to book a table for the weekend.

      Entrecôte was overcooked, potatoes were good but slightly cold. Tiramisu was excellent. Service was ok and the food arrived fairly fast compared to the fact that the restaurant was full.

      The food was great as always. Classic Italian. We have dined here many times and always come back. Good service and atmosphere.
