MOON is a tricky word. In English, it means the Moon; however, when pronounced the Estonian way [mɔːn], it stands for a beautiful red flower (poppy).
A few years ago, Roman and Igor decided to toss their tall white chef's hats in the corner and go back to their roots, and thus, restaurant Moon was born. Quoting a good friend of the owners and a wonderful person who said after visiting Moon for the first time: “You have to go back to move forward!”
Simplicity, independence, local raw ingredients, integrity and respect, Nordic coolness. An unusual name. Unusual location. But a very usual place otherwise. Restaurant MOON has been selected to the Top 50 of the best restaurants in Estonia for several years running.

No matter what the weather is like outside, this place will make your taste buds dance with delight! We enjoyed pumpkin ossoto and beef tartare, both of which were absolutely delicious!
