    Locomotive Restaurant Peatus

The buildings, which were built in 1873–1874, were used as a train depot for maintaining and housing locomotives and rail-cars until spring 2015. Symbolically, two rail-cars – the dining car of a Moscow train and the passenger car with leather seats of Edelaraudtee – were left in front of the former train depot of the Baltic Station. These two rail-cars are what Peatus (‘stop’ in Estonian) is made of – a place where time stops and where you can always stop for a meal, morning coffee, a refreshing drink, or a lovely time with your friends. During the daytime, we focus on food. In the evenings, however, we host different events, bands, DJs, and everyone who make the local life more interesting.

Great spot for lunch. The burgers were delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. Really enjoyed the old train theme, it added a unique touch to the overall experience.

Loved that it was an old train carriage, that was great. Didn't like that on entry the staff were rude to us, and I believe mocking us when we sat down. We should of left without buying a drink. Far... Read more comments
