    Restaurant & Bar ISSEI

We welcome you to an extraordinary taste journey in the first Nikkei cuisine restaurant in the Baltics. In 1899 the steamship Sakura Maru sailed from Japan to Peru, each passenger carrying a recipe from their home region. Both nations valued fresh fish, which became the foundation of a new cuisine - Nikkei. Japanese cuisine draws its inspiration from the sea and now it has married the ingredients grown in the rich Peruvian earth. Corn, potatoes, lime and chili gave fish and rice just the right flavour. Restaurant ISSEI's interior design as well as the food selection are inspired by the harmony of land and sea.
