The hotel is located in two houses with medieval exteriors, narrow corridors and secret stairwells, ceiling and wall paintings, balconies, and wooden ceiling-beams. As the hotel is a historic and belongs to the list of UNESCO heritage sites, there is no lift in the building.Historic features of Merchant’s House Hotel: - fascinating corridor system and hand-painted frescoes; - wooden balconies and hidden stairs; - finely finished medieval facade.
