    Georgian Sukhishvili National Ballet

The eighth wonder of the world – that’s what the international media calls Sukhishvili. Their repertoire includes Georgian folk dances and theatrical performances accompanied by Georgian folk instruments. The Estonian audience is in for a truly spectacular show: the stage will be filled with dancers and orchestra, hundreds of colourful costumes and fifty exclusive sabres. The famous Georgian collective – folk dance group Sukhishvili – was established in 1945 by husband and wife Iliko Sukhishvili and Nino Ramishvil. This was the first professional collective from Georgia. Before its establishment, the folk dance did not exist in its current form.
