On six July evenings, audiences in Tallinn will have the opportunity to see Hydrogen Jukebox, a contemporary opera by Philip Glass — one of the world's most performed composers — at the Noblessner Foundry Hall. The Estonian public will get a chance to experience this work, with a libretto written by revolutionary Beat poet Allen Ginsberg.
The production takes us on a wild journey, addressing themes ranging from love and rebellion to anti-war sentiment and political resistance. In this captivating visual spectacle, top Estonian soloists and musicians perform under the baton of conductor Tõnu Kaljuste.
The performance is in English and Estonian, with subtitles.
