    Estonian Museum of Natural History

The permanent exhibition of the Estonian Museum of Natural History takes you on a journey in Estonian nature and offers an educational experience for both children and adults. You can learn about the nearly 2,000 million years of geological history of Estonia, as well as the country’s species-rich forests and mysterious bogs.

While at the Museum of Natural History, you can also go on virtual reality adventures, where you can dive to the bottom of the primeval sea and meet the animals that lived there hundreds of millions of years ago, shrink to the cellular level and explore the fertilisation process, and fly with bats during their autumn feeding trips. Be sure to try the augmented reality application LoodusMuuseumAR, which brings to life animals that lived hundreds of millions of years ago and makes the microworld around us visible.

The museum’s online free audio guide, which can be used by anyone on their personal smart device, is available in Finnish, English, Russian, and Estonian.

The museum entrance is free with Tallinn Card.
