Merchant`s House Hotel

Located in the heart of Tallinn’s medieval Old Town, Merchant’s House Hotel offers both beautiful as well as historical sights. The house, which was once a home of a medieval merchant, dates back to the 14th and 16th century. The hotel is located in two houses with medieval exteriors, narrow corridors and secret stairwells, ceiling and wall paintings, balconies, and wooden ceiling-beams. As the hotel is a historic and belongs to the list of UNESCO heritage sites, there is no lift in the building.Historic features of Merchant’s House Hotel: - fascinating corridor system and hand-painted frescoes; - wooden balconies and hidden stairs; - finely finished medieval facade.

    huge room; huge bed!!!! Good breakfast. (and a French bakery right next door!). Delightful staff. Good, solid communication prior to arrival.
