The zoo is home to more than 8000 animals representing almost 400 species and sub-species from Australia to Alaska.
The zoo is located only 15 minutes from the Tallinn city centre and has two access points: the western gate (at Ehitajate tee 150) and the northern gate (at Paldiski mnt 145).
Tallinn Zoo is open every day, except for the indoor exhibits, which are closed on Mondays. After the closing of the ticket office, it is possible to walk around in the zoo for a further two hours.
Children up to age six get free admission with an adult who has purchased a ticket.

We have been to many zoo, this was more wild, lot of tall grass, not very clean windows, but animals was nice and also there was cafe with good prices and tasty food.
