You won’t be bored in Tallinn – the city offers lots of exciting activities for families with children and teenagers to make a vacation memorable during any season. From lively water parks that take visitors on a tropical retreat in the middle of Northern Europe to adventure parks and playgrounds that encourage creativity and physical activity, Tallinn has something to offer for everybody.

Summer never ends in Tallinn’s water parks. The largest water park, Atlantis H2O Aquapark, is in Viimsi, 10 kilometres from the city centre. The water park has six slides, two of which you can slide down in a tube. They also have a wave pool and a lazy river.
Kalev Spa Waterpark in the lush park near Tallinn Old Town can be enjoyed by adults and children of all ages. You can swim in Estonia’s largest 50-metre pool and enjoy the many water attractions, slides, hot tubs, kids’ pools and saunas.
Various saunas and hot tubs, a large indoor pool, a children’s pool and a year-round outdoor pool will delight all water fans at Aqua Spa Waterpark. What’s more, you can jump into the cold water pool after a day of swimming and saunas at the Elamus Spa in Mustamäe. You can find over 10 different saunas and a variety of pools at the Ring Spa in Haabersti. The spa also features a separate children’s pool where kids can swim and play to their hearts’ content.
Regardless of the season, Tallinn’s adventure parks and playgrounds have plenty of activities to take part in. The Nõmme Adventure Park in the midst of greenery is open all year round, offering trails of varying difficulties and heights suitable for almost everyone. The Pirita Adventure Park, shadowed by tall pine trees, is open from April to September. At the Vimka – Viimsi Mountain Park, located just a 20-minute drive away from the City Centre, you can descend a 250-metre hill on skis, a snowboard or snow tube. During the summer months, the mountain centres offer other popular attractions for visitors.
You can find awesome playgrounds everywhere in the city. In addition to admiring Tallinn from the Rooftop Promenade of the Cruise Ship Terminal or from Reidi Road along the seafront, you can spend your time playing games and on sports courts. Kadriorg Park, with its Swan Pond and a fun children’s playground, and Kalamaja Park, suited for cosy picnics and walks, have become the favourites of many families.
Besides the largest sports court and playground in the Baltic states, you can find a skatepark and pumptrack in Tondiraba Park in Lasnamäe.
When it’s cold outside, you can have fun indoors. T1 Mall of Tallinn’s Super Skypark, Trampolino Trampoline Centre in Ülemiste Centre and Lohesaba (Dragon Tail) Adventure Town in Mustamäe offer many jumping and climbing joys for visitors. You can also find one of the highest locations to observe Tallinn at the T1 Mall of Tallinn – the Skywheel of Tallinn.
Both the Elamusgolf (Adventure Golf) on Freedom Square and Park Minigolf at Nautica Centre offer entertainment for old and young golf fans alike. Adventurous young people from the age of six can challenge themselves in the two laser game halls of Megazone.
In Peetri Borough, just a 20-minute drive away from the City Centre, you can find Spot of Tallinn, the largest action sports centre in the Baltics, where you can try your hand at both new and traditional sports such as BMX or trampoline jumping.
