Architecture in Tallinn - Hanseatic style, Stalinist classicism and modern high-gloss buildings

The eventful history of Tallinn has left its traces in the city's architecture, of course: the city's floor plan, the individual buildings and facades can tell insightful stories from the past 800 years. The tour of Tallinn's architectural history takes you briefly through the medieval old town, but focuses primarily on the surrounding districts, which sometimes only reveal their most exciting sides at second glance.

We discover Hanseatic merchant houses and classicist town villas, a lot of romance and modern functionalism, Soviet pomp and postmodern coolness. A very special view of the Estonian capital, which - if desired - ends with a visit to the Estonian Architecture Museum (admission 6 € per person).
