Soviet era Estonia – excursion in Tallinn and around it

This tour introduces the heritage of the Soviet era in Tallinn and around it. We will visit: - former border zones and the ruins of Viimsi missile base - the Song Festival Grounds and talk about the singing revolution - the constructions erected in Pirita for the Olympics and discuss how the 1980 Tallinn Sailing Regatta transformed Tallinn - the newly completed Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Maarjamäe. In addition, you will learn about the tallest building raised in Tallinn during the Soviet times – the TV tower. The tour is concluded by the wonderful view of the entire area afforded by the tower.
