Tallinn Strategy Centre’s tourism department is a destination management organisation or DMO.
Tallinn Strategy Centre tourism department’s sustainable tourism development is based on the Tallinn 2035 Development Strategy. We are aware of our responsibility and obligation to lead and develop the tourism infrastructure of Tallinn in a way that will preserve valuable cultural heritage and the natural environment for future generations and so that Tallinn’s visitors can be offered high-quality services and visits full of good experiences.
For this reason, a development plan has been created for the years 2023-2026 that describes the goals, principles of actions and the co-creation participants of tourism development. Primary challenges and global trends affecting our tourism business environment are also described.
At the Tallinn Tourism Department, we are guided by the UN's Sustainable Development Goals both in the development of tourism in the destination and in the department's activities.
