Birgitta Festival

Birgitta Festival has been a musical theater festival taking place in the ruins of Pirita Monastery in Tallinn since 2005. The festival combines the dark charm of a medieval monastery with the last word of modern musical theater.The only international musical theater festival in the neighboring countries is the Tallinn Festival, which takes place every August. The festival features operas, ballets, staged oratorios, contemporary dance performances, music and other genres of musical theater.
