The Japanese garden in Kadriorg Park was opened on 31 July 2011. Masao Sone, the designer of the garden, comes from Kyoto and learned landscaping in Tokyo as well as from his father who is a gardener.
The northeast pond of Kadriorg and its buried limestone slope, boulders, large trees, pond, and waterfall were a brilliant source of inspiration.

Very nice Japanese garden and worth visiting whilst being there. It's not a huge place so it's easy to have a little walk about.
