    Kalju Baptist Church

The only remaining church in the Kalamaja district, Kalju was the very first place of worship for Tallinn's Baptists.

The Neo-Gothic limestone building, created by architect Konstantin Wilken, was erected in 1902. Its lancet-arched windows make the building look more obviously church-like than the other low buildings that surround it. The church's congregation has played a key role in spreading Baptism in Estonia.
