The Tall Ships Races with around 100 different-size sailing training vessels touring and competing in European waters is the world’s largest offshore regatta. In 2021, this majestic fleet will stop in Tallinn for three days full of various thematic tours, events, and concerts.
The tall ships’ visit is celebrated with Europe’s largest family-friendly itinerary maritime festival where you can also visit many of the tall ships for free. The vessels are docking at the Old City Harbour, Port Noblessner, and the Seaplane Harbour.
The visually spectacular Tall Ships Races, passing through different countries each year, aim to encourage international friendship and the training of young people in the art of sailing: over half of the crew of each sail training ship must consist of people aged between 15-25 years.
