Charles Gounod's opera "Romeo and Juliet"

"Romeo and Juliet" is one of the most prized gems of 19th century French opera. One of the best-known musical numbers in the opera is "Je veux vivre" or "Julia's Waltz". In a well-known love story, director Stephen Barlow focuses on the fate of two hostile adversaries, fitting it into modern Parisian society. Through the meaningless and fruitless hatred of the Capulettes and Montecchi, the eternal message of love is heard. The opera is known for its deeply emotional duets, colorful orchestration and heartbreaking choirs. Sung in French with subtitles in Estonian and English
