Carpenter Brut takes you on a journey to a dark fantasy world. The Leather Terror album and the accompanying world tour are the soundtrack to an imaginary film about Bret Halford and his journey. This is the second part of the trilogy. In the first part, Leather Teeth (2018), we met Bret Halford. Leather Teeth was the first "movie" about Halford's saga - a young man who fails to win the girl and does his best to win the girl's heart. Franck Hueso confirms that he does not consider Carpenter Brut to be a real metal band. “You kind of have to be in on the joke to fully appreciate the concept,” he explains. The opus Leather Terror is reminiscent of thrash metal bands from the 1980s, but at the same time, Carpenter Brut's vocals are still very important. The story is brought to life on stage in a completely new way, offering a truly shaking experience. “I want to make it as intense as possible,” says the artist. “I don’t even want to allow the audience a spare moment to go grab a beer, you know?”
