Defending Freedom: Estonian Civil Society in the Russo-Ukrainian War

The exhibition showcases how Estonian civil society and the state have supported Ukraine in its fight for freedom—a struggle also seen as our own against Russian aggression. Volunteer work, donations, humanitarian aid, and demonstrations have helped both the military and civilians. More than 159,000 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Estonia, many of whom have received protection or moved on. The exhibition highlights the role of civil society organizations and the state in assisting Ukraine, emphasizing cooperation and transformation.
