    Glehn Castle

Glehn Castle was built on the scenic hillside by Nikolai von Glehn (1841–1923) in 1886. Although only the ruins of the castle remained in the first half of the 20th century, it was restored in 1966–1977 under the leadership of the Academic Male Choir of Tallinn University of Technology. Visitors can admire this magnificent castle from the outside. A park with sculptures has been built around the building and the Tallinn Observatory is also located there. We rent premises for institutions, companies, and individuals for various events: weddings, birthdays, concerts, and conferences. You can rent the whole castle as well as separate floors or halls in the basement.

We visited Glehn Castle a couple times trying to see the inside and it was closed both times. Though, the surrounding area was beautiful so we had fun anyhow.

Situated in a forrest in the outskirts of Tallinn, this historical castle is worth a visit on a day out.

Een hele omweg gemaakt en wat stelt het voor? Een nep middeleeuws kasteel, een mooi park, maar niet speciaal en een paar rare beelden. Hier mis je echt niks aan.
