The Patkuli viewing platform is situated in one of the most ancient parts of Tallinn. The stairway leading up to the platform was constructed in 1903. There are 157 steps connecting Toompea hill to the town below, with the stairway coming out in Toompark by Snelli pond.
Beautiful views open from the Patkuli Viewing Platform to Tallinn’s well preserved medieval city wall, historic towers, and the old Hanseatic town. The platform highlights the unique historical urban space and rich cultural heritage for which Tallinn’s Old Town is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The view combines centuries of history, architecture, and one of Tallinn’s most iconic skylines.
