There is no better place to sunbathe on the sandy beach and go hiking in nature than the island of Aegna!
Coming with your watercraft, take note that the Aegna wharf at Lohknas End does not have a water area or a breakwater. Therefore, in addition to possible storm waves, the wakes of high-speed shuttle ships should be taken into account by shipowners. The harbour has a map introducing the island, a water intake, a ship waiting pavilion, picnic benches, and an outdoor toilet. There is also an outdoor café and a standby rescue team in the summer.
During the high season, there is a regular ferry service between Aegna and the mainland, which can accommodate up to 100 passengers and 30 bicycles per trip. The island can also be reached by sea taxi and by speedboat.
