Though Estonia has thousands of islands, Aegna is the only island belonging to Tallinn, located 14 kilometres off the coast. It is 3 square kilometres and has plenty of plant and animal life, as well cultural relics. Visit the stone labyrinth, dating back as far as the 12th century, and former military infrastructure, including a watch tower and gun battery. Covered by forests and beach, Aegna is a landscape protection area. It also has the largest collection of boulders in Estonia.
