Maestro got the recognition by the entire world cultural community as the best interpreter of the works of Frederic Chopin, and for the originality of musical interpretations he obtained the Fryderyk award eight times, more than anyone in history.
Janusz Olejniczak is an exceptionally sensitive artist, he lives every note and everything in between, and Chopin's music requires particularly sensitive performers.
But besides Chopin's work, the pianist's repertoire is quite extensive. He pays great attention to Polish composers and outstanding cultural figures of the ХХ century, for example, Maestro Olejniczak acted as an understudy for actor Adrian Brody and performed all piano parts in the Oscar-winning film "The Pianist" by Roman Polanski.
