    Balti Jaam Market

    Balti Jaam Market is a unique market in Estonia, which includes nearly 300 traders on three floors. On the underground floor, there is a supermarket, a sports club, and various services. On the ground floor, there is a large hall for fish and meat, a street for vegetables, and a versatile street food area with nearly 20 dining options. The first floor is mainly devoted to Estonian design and crafts, clothing, household goods, and antiques. The mission of the Balti Jaam Market is to promote a healthy and balanced diet, value clean and authentic raw materials, and respect the exquisite art of cooking.

      It's always good to see the local markets, and here was one that was covered, got us inside for a bit. Nice display of food products and other things. We had fun exploring.

    • Buy fruit from the first lady, NOT the interior one a few stalls in.

      Huge range of clothes and the usual tourist crap too but a good mix for artisanal foods in the back and off to the side was good. Be careful buying any fruit there as it is only edible THAT day... Read more comments

      This place delights and even overwhelms a little. The food, restaurants, cafe's and bars in the vicinity are fabulous throughout. Additionally the produce, cheeses, fruit, veg, fish, etc. etc. etc... Read more comments
