Peony Days at the Tallinn Botanical Garden

Peonies, cherished heirloom plants in Estonia, begin blooming even before Midsummer’s Eve, and in favorable summers, later varieties may still be in bloom at the start of July. During Peony Days visitors can get to know these regal midsummer beauties up close; take part in guided tours, seek peony advice from specialists, or enjoy a self-guided walk among the fragrant flowerbeds. On display are nearly 300 varieties, species, and hybrids—including the classic red, blush pink, and white blooms, as well as the more novel Itoh peonies.

On Saturday, June 28, the dance ensemble “Tuisuline” will perform.
